Senior Scholarships!

The Hudson Mohawk Road Runners Club is currently accepting applications for the Bill Shrader Sr. Memorial Scholarships. The Shrader Scholarships were established by the Hudson Mohawk Road Runners Club in the memory of Bill Shrader, Sr., an outstanding life-long runner and one of the founding members of the Club. The purpose of the program is to encourage and support young runners in their efforts to make running a lifelong part of a healthy lifestyle. In 2021, four $3,000 non-renewable scholarships will be awarded to runners planning to attend a college, university, or community college on a full-time basis. The awards will be limited to track or cross-country runners currently attending a Section II high school. More information can be found at http://www.hmrrc.com.

To apply, a student-athlete must complete the attached form and satisfy the eligibility requirements listed above. Applications must be received by April 1, 2021. The HMRRC Selection Committee will determine the scholarship award winners. Winners will be announced by May 1, 2021.

The application is also available on the HMRRC website https://www.hmrrc.com/application/files/6616/0942/8811/2021ShraderApplication.pdf. Applications may be submitted by email or mail to Sally Drake, contact information below.
