At the end of June four of our high school track and field athletes will be traveling to Nicaragua to do mission work with the residents and children in Matagalpa. Their mission for this trip is to build an enrichment center as part of the local school. This Center will be a place for children to learn, receive nourishment and it provides a safe haven. Our athletes- Sarah Vener, Jake Smith, Reghan Meek and Emily Smith will have an opportunity to positively impact these children not only with a new Center but also in preparing meals for them, providing vitamins, teaching basic math and reading lessons along with classic games and activities such as chess, soccer, and running. If you would like to make a financial donation to assist with building supplies for the center all donations are tax deductible and checks may be made out to Enrich Missions ( If you prefer, you may also make a donation on-line to the attention of one of these athletes.
