Rain or shine prepare for an AWESOME COMPETITION, there will be NATIONALLY RANKED competitors from LARGE & SMALL TRACK PROGRAMS to make the 8th Annual Lady Eagles Invy a PREMIER EVENT! Our Sponsor, Fleet Feet Sports has arranged for a DJ, fully automatic timing by Finish Right Timing, and there are numerous IMPRESSIVE AWARDS (including large & small school team awards). Top BCHS finishers: Danika Jensen's exciting finish for 2nd in Girls 1000 Meter Run in 3:01.85; Lindsay Cheu 12th in 1000m in 3:08.77; Jackie Kearney 7th in Long Jump 16-5.5. Noteworthy: Edward Cheserek, St. Benedict's, NJ, won an automatic bid to the Millrose Games High School Mile with a time of 4:09.90.

12/3/11 - Hoffman Car Wash Ticket Fundraiser -- Download the Order Form here. The BCHS XC Track & Field Booster Club is selling pre-paid Hoffman Car Wash Tickets. Exterior wash tickets sell for $9 each while full service tickets (inside & outside cleaning) sell for $18 each. 50% of the value of each ticket sold benefits the track team. These make excellent gifts for friends, co-workers, and family! Keep a supply on hand for washing off winter road salt and get the jump on mud season. 11/14/11 - Banquet Recap -- 200 students and parents attended the Annual Cross-Country Awards Banquet on Sunday, Nov. 13, at Normanside Country Club. It was a huge event with a plethora of athletic, service, and spirit awards presented by Coaches and Upperclassmen. Team Captains all did an excellent job with their speeches to a packed house! Kudos as well to the Booster Club organizers and Normanside's Club House Restaurant for an excellent dinner. Finally, special recognition was extended to all Cross-Country Team Senior Class Athletes: GIRLS: Laurel Abowd, Sarah Booker, Elena Bouton, Hilary Forrest, Michelle Lee, Lizzy Licht, Christy MacFarlane, Lauren Thomas. 11/12/11 - 2011 NYSPHSAA State XC Meet -- Results, live updates and photos, and general information. Bethlehem's Carpinello and Crawford finish 38th and 50th, respectively, on a very sloppy course with 107 Class A runners. BOYS: FM wins team, Section 2(A) Shaker is 3rd beating Arlington by 3 pts. Section 2(A) boys take 4th. GIRLS: FM wins team, Section 2(A) Saratoga is 2nd. Section 2(A) girls take 2nd.

11/5/11 - Section 2 Championships at Saratoga Spa State Park on Friday, November 4. Wow! Bethlehem boys were fantastic with 3rd place finish (narrowly finishing behind Saratoga by 6 pts), Lucas Carpinello (4th) and Matt Crawford (6th) advance to States! Congratulations BCHS Boys Varsity XC Team (Matt Crawford, Lucas Carpinello, Ben Fishbein, Chris Shaw, McKinley Gray) for win over tough opponents Shen and Nisky. Thank you to all the parents and students who assisted in making the BC home meet a success. 8/1/11 - Applebee’s Fundraiser – Saturday, August 27, 8–10am – Glenmont. Parents/Athletes – we need your help selling tickets and volunteering for this first fundraiser of the 2011-12 XC Track n Field season. Tickets are available by contacting either Tom Napierski, Pete DeVries, or Seth Denning. All tickets sales should be complete and money returned to one of the booster club officers no later than August 19th.
